Booking Terms and Conditions

Read our Booking Terms & Conditions before booking.

 

Payment. Classes and gift vouchers must be paid in full when you book the class, or you purchase a gift voucher.

 

No refunds. We have no refund policy, but we are happy to offer you to reschedule up to two (2) times. In order to do so, please send an email to originsitaliancookingclasses@gmail.com.

You must do this at least 7 days before your class.

We are sorry that we can neither rebook nor refund any cancellations made after this time.

 

Rescheduling. Classes are non-refundable, however, we understand that life could be tricky sometimes, so we offer to reschedule your class, but you need to give us at least 7 days notice prior to the class and you can reschedule up to two (2) times.

If you are suddenly unwell, or you cannot attend the class, we are happy if you send someone in your place.

A minimum of 6/8 guests (depends on the class) is required for the class to go ahead; in the event we don’t reach these numbers we will contact you in advance to reschedule your booking.

 

Classes.  At Origins, cooking classes are 100% hands-on unless otherwise specified. You’ll be working at your own cooking stations to prepare all the dishes on the menu for the day. Once the cooking has been completed, we will have a degustation of what we prepared accompanied with a glass of Italian wine or a drink (coffee and tea for the dessert class).

Please note: The menu is set, but is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at our discretion.

 

Timing. We are expected to start on time, and we will not be able to start again from the beginning if you are late (no exception will be made).

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time of the class.

We cannot refund those who arrive after the scheduled start time, even if you call ahead.

 

Children. Our classes are suitable for all ages, however, children under the age of 15 must have a fully paying adult accompanying them.

 

Parent and Child Class. The bench tops are set at a height that requires a minimum height of children to be 130 cm tall in order to safely and comfortably participate. The minimum age requirement is 8 years old. The Parent and Child classes are a mixture of demonstrations by the chef with some hands-on participation.

 

Dietary requirements. We will happily try to accommodate all dietary requirements where possible. Please provide details of any dietary requirements (allergies, intolerances, gluten free, vegetarian or vegan) at the time of your booking in the booking form online. Without notice we are not able to adjust our menus to accommodate your needs. If you have special dietary needs, please feel free to contact us to discuss the classes most suitable for you.

 

Spectators. No, thank you. All attendees must purchase a ticket or hold a valid gift voucher.

 

B.Y.O. Thank-you but no thank-you. This is not an option, and neither is attending in an intoxicated manner. Please note for your safety and for ours you will be turned away if you are intoxicated and your booking will not be refunded.

 

Cancellation of Class.  A minimum of 6/8 guests (depends on the class) is required for the class to be held. If we need to cancel a class because of unforeseen circumstances or low bookings, your booking will be transferred or credited to another class, and the gift vouchers will be extended.

 

Gift Vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of purchase. If you have an expired gift voucher or close to the expiry date, please contact us via email originsitaliancookingclasses@gmail.com or call

 to discuss an extension.

Gift Vouchers may be transferred to another person but cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.

Gift Voucher bookings can be made via our website, please bring your voucher or confirmation with you on the day of your class to help with the registration process!

  

Private events or corporate.

          Private bookings for Corporate Team Building or Private Events, Private classes, (Hen’s Nights, Birthdays, Private dining experiences, hire us for a dinner/lunch at your home etc) require a full payment to secure the booking date and time.

          A refund will be made if you cancel your event 15 days prior the date of your event.

If you cancel your event from the 15th day before the event, until the day of the event, we will retain your payment to offset a loss of income as we will not be able to resell that day and time slot.

All deposits or payments made until this point of cancellation will be forfeited.

          Confirmation of the final guest numbers are to be received 7 days prior to your exciting event. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a cancellation and refund for a guest who is unable to attend. If a guest is unable to attend, please arrange for someone to take their place.
