Ligurian Dinner Cooking Class – Brisbane & Gold Coast

Learn. Cook. Eat. Experience Italy… right here in Bahrs Scrub.

Looking for something different on a Friday night?
Instead of putting on your pyjamas and scrolling your phone, step into our warm Italian kitchen and prepare a real Ligurian dinner—just like we do in Northern Italy by the sea.

This is not a restaurant, and it’s not just a cooking class.
It’s a hands-on, authentic Italian dining experience where you cook, you learn, you laugh… and then you feast on everything you’ve created, just like at a long family dinner.

✨ What You’ll Prepare (And Eat)

Antipasto | Entrée
Torta Pasqualina – A traditional Easter savoury pie made with layers of puff pastry, spinach, ricotta, eggs, parmesan, yogurt, and marjoram. Light, flaky, and full of flavour.

Primo Piatto | Main
You’ll master the art of preparing Pesto Genovese the original way—using a marble mortar and pestle, just like Ligurian grandmothers have done for centuries.
Then you’ll hand-make Trofie, the signature Ligurian pasta that hugs every drop of pesto like a love story.

Dolce | Dessert
Bonetto de Laite – A delicate and silky Ligurian milk custard with vanilla, eggs, and sugar. Simple, elegant, and irresistible.

Once the cooking is done… the magic begins.
We sit together and enjoy the dinner we just created, sharing stories, laughter, and a complimentary glass of Italian wine (or a refreshing soft drink)—because in Italy, food is always about people.

Origins Italian Cooking Classes. Where food becomes love, and strangers become family.

Our classes are 100% hands-on — you’ll be cooking at your own personal bench, preparing every dish from scratch. We keep our groups intentionally small so we can guide you step by step, answer your questions, and help you truly master the techniques — not just watch them. It’s not a demonstration. It’s full participation, the Italian way — learning by doing, laughing, tasting, kneading, chopping, and sharing.
